Can you help me get to the Congrés?

I am planning a production trip to the Congrés Mondial Acadien in Maritime Canada this August 10 thru 24. The Congrés only happens every 5 years and it is not always in Maritime Canada.

It's very important that I make it to the Congrés next month to shoot footage for my documentary film, possibly get some "person-on-the-street" interviews with attendees and hopefully make connections with people who are willing to be interviewed for my film in the future.

I am trying to raise $3000 to fund the trip. The money will fund airfare, rental car, gas, food and incidentals. Any surplus will fund future administrative, production and finishing costs.

Everyone who donates will get their name in the credits and on the website. If you are of Acadian descent, please include your Acadian family name and you will be listed on a page showing your name under your ancestors' name. And it will be large type, slow-moving graphics at the beginning of the credits so everyone will be able to read their name!
